Once installed, you may zoom, pan, plot or save this detail by clicking on the right mouse button to active the menu. 

You may also drag and drop it into an AutoCAD drawing.  To do this, hold down the CONTROL key while dragging and drop it into AutoCAD R14 via the INSERT command, or hold down both the SHIFT and CONTROL keys to perform an OPEN command.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOW VOLTAGE UNDERWATER LIGHTS

FOR USE ONLY WITH LOW VOLTAGE LANDSCAPE POWER UNITS THAT DO NOT EXCEED 25 AMPS, 15 VOLT MAX.

WARNING:  Fixture must be installed in accordance with local codes of the National Electrical Code (NEC).  Failure to do so may result in serious injury and/or damage to the fixture.

SAFETY WARNING: Fixture can become very hot depending upon the lamp wattage used.  Lens and metal around the lamp can become hot enough to blister hands.  Particular care should be take no to locate fixtures where small children can reach them if high wattage lamps are used.

LUMINARIES ARE NOT TO BE INSTALLED WITHIN 10 FT. (3.05 M) OF A POOL OR SPA.

CAUTION!!

  1. This fixture is intended for use in water gardens and ponds.  NOT FOR USE IN SWIMMING POOL OR SPA APPLICATIONS.
  2. DO NOT hold fixture by or pull the underwater cable.  If wire is pulled, it may break the liquid-tight seal and void the warranty.
  3. DO NOT loosen of remove the liquid-tight connector.  This will damage the factory-set seal and result in possible leakage.
  4. The end of the underwater cable MUST BE POTTED to prevent moisture from entering the cable and consequently entering the fixture.  CONNECTION OF SPLICING OF CABLE MUST BE MADE AWAY FROM WATER AND AT LEAST 4 FEET AWAY FROM WATER EDGE.  This fixture comes equipped with 15 feet of waterproof cable to facilitate installation away from the water.

NOTICE: Each fixture is factory tested prior to weightment.   Traces of water may be visible as a direct result of factory underwater testing.

TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION:
  • Phillips Screwdriver
  •   Wire Stripper
  • Silicone Sealant

 

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
LIGHTED LAMP IS HOT!!

WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, OR INJURY TO PERSONS:

  1. Turn off / unplug and allow to cool before replacing lamp.
  2. Lamps get HOT quickly!  Contact only switch/plug when turning on.
  3. Do not touch hot lens, guard or enclosures.
  4. Keep lamp away from materials that may burn.
  5. Do not touch the lamp at any time.  Use a soft cloth.  Oil from skin may damage lamp.
  6. Do not operate luminare fitting with a missing or damaged shield (cover).

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: FIXTURE IS RATED AT 12 VOLT AC.  DO NOT CONNECT FIXTURE TO ANY OTHER VOLTAGE.

  1. To prevent electrical shock, disconnect the transformer from the electrical supply before installation or service.
  2. Strip the two (2) leads from the fixture wire.  Using the two (2) silicone filled safety connectors 9supplied) connect the leads from the fixture to the main supply cable leads (see figure).

LAMP INSTALLATION / REPLACEMENT:

CAUTION: Do not exceed maximum wattage marked on fixture label.

  1. To prevent electrical shock, disconnect transformer from electrical supply before service.
  2. Remove fixture from water.
  3. Loosen four (4) cover screws and remove lens.
  4. Replace lamp with correct wattage and type of laamp marked on fixture label.
    NOTE: DO NOT touch Halogen lamp with bare hands.  always use the plastic bag providedd to handle the lamp.
  5. Clean O-ring and channel and re-install O-ring.
    NOTE: O-Ring channel must be cleaned and free of debris before replacing cover.
  6. Re-install cover and tighten the four (4) screws evenly.
